Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us when you book a transfer.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
Who you are contracting with
These terms govern transfers booked through https://gravitas.cy and app.gravitas.cy. The service is provided by ANDELONICA LTD (Reg. No. HE 478024), Stavrovouniou 11, Taliadoros Panthea Court, Floor 2, Office 202, Mesa Geitonia 4007, Limassol, Cyprus, trading as Gravitas. Contact: [email protected], +357 96 780 800.
By confirming a booking you accept these terms.
What the service is
We provide pre-booked private passenger transfers with a professional driver, at a price fixed before the journey. This is not a metered taxi service and not a shared shuttle: the vehicle carries your party only, and the fare does not change with traffic or time of day.
Rides are carried out by licensed drivers in insured vehicles that meet the requirements of Cypriot law.
Booking and confirmation
- A booking exists once you receive our confirmation with the reference number. Until then the request is not binding on either side.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us — in particular the pickup address, date, time and flight number. We are not liable for a failed pickup caused by wrong details.
- We may decline a booking, in particular when the route is outside our service area, the requested time cannot be staffed, or the request appears fraudulent.
Prices and payment
- The price shown at booking is fixed and all-inclusive: it covers the vehicle, the driver, fuel, tolls, applicable taxes, meet & greet and the free waiting time described below.
- The price does not change because of traffic, a longer route, or a night-time arrival. There is no night surcharge and no night tariff of any kind.
- Child seats and boosters cost €5 each and must be requested at the time of booking.
- Payment can be made by card (Visa or Mastercard) or in cash directly to the driver, by cryptocurrency through our payment provider, or through a payment link we send you. All prices are in euro (EUR).
- A short extra stop on the way is not charged separately; the driver agrees it with you on the spot. A change of destination during the ride is re-quoted before it applies.
- Non-standard luggage (golf clubs, skis, a wheelchair, oversized boxes) and any non-standard request must be told to us in advance — the price for it is agreed before the ride.
- Cleaning costs may be charged if a passenger soils the vehicle.
Waiting time
- Airport pickups: we track your flight and adjust the pickup automatically. Waiting is free for 30 minutes after the actual landing time, and we do not apply an hourly waiting charge at the airport.
- Other pickups: waiting is free for 15 minutes from the booked time.
- Outside airports, waiting beyond the free allowance is charged at €50 per hour, pro rata — for example when the car is held while a group finishes dinner. The driver tells you the rate before the charge starts.
- If we cannot reach you and you do not appear, the ride is treated as a no-show.
Changes, cancellation and no-show
- You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup, and we refund any amount already paid.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before pickup may be charged up to 50% of the fare, because the vehicle and driver are already committed.
- No-show — the passenger does not appear and does not make contact within the free waiting time — is charged in full.
- Changes to time, address or vehicle class are free where we can still staff the ride; tell us as early as possible at [email protected] or +357 96 780 800.
- If we cancel for a reason within our control, you receive a full refund; where possible we arrange a replacement vehicle first.
Your statutory right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services, nor to services to be supplied on a specific date (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(l), as transposed in Cyprus). Our cancellation policy above applies instead, and it is more generous than the law requires.
Luggage and passengers
- Each vehicle class has a stated passenger and luggage capacity. Book the class that fits your party — a driver may refuse to carry more passengers than the vehicle is licensed for.
- Tell us in advance about oversized items such as golf bags, surfboards, bicycles or wheelchairs, so we send a suitable vehicle.
- Luggage is carried at the owner's risk. Check the vehicle before leaving; we will help return items left behind, but cannot guarantee recovery.
Child seats
Cypriot law requires children to travel in an appropriate restraint. We supply child seats and boosters free of charge — please state the children's ages when booking, so the correct seat is fitted before pickup.
Conduct during the ride
- Seat belts must be worn by all passengers.
- Smoking, vaping and consumption of alcohol are not permitted in our vehicles.
- The driver may end the journey where a passenger behaves in a way that endangers safety, and may refuse carriage to anyone visibly intoxicated or aggressive. In such cases the fare is not refunded.
- You are responsible for damage caused to the vehicle by you or your party beyond normal use.
Liability
We carry out each ride with reasonable skill and care, and our vehicles carry the insurance required by Cypriot law.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — severe weather, road closures, accidents ahead of us, strikes, or airport disruption. Where such an event prevents the ride entirely, we refund the fare.
We are not liable for consequential losses such as a missed flight, missed connection or missed event, except where the loss results from our own negligence. We recommend allowing sensible time before a departing flight.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of Cyprus. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Complaints and disputes
Tell us about a problem within 30 days of the ride, at [email protected], quoting your booking reference. We acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
If we cannot agree, you may contact the Consumer Protection Service, Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry of Cyprus (https://www.consumer.gov.cy/). These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes fall to the courts of Cyprus — this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you make your booking. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
